Calm Dog Course
This course was my first experience in a dog training and calming course. It was just what I needed for Murphy and I. The Tellington TTouch suits Murphy as he enjoys the contact and it is helping me rebuild my confidence with Murphy after some behavioural issues. Jo has so much experience and knowledge from her veterinary nursing background, training qualifications and her enthusiasm for Tellington TTouch and free work was extremely encouraging. It was reassuring to hear other dog owners talking about their dogs and any advice given by Jo could be related to yourself and your dog so over the 90 minutes of zoom a lot of information could be obtained. Also, the zoom meetings were recorded so playback was possible. So all in all, great value for money. I found the TTouch technique and free work fascinating and would definitely like to learn more about it. I would definitely recommend Jo to others.

The Calm Dog Course gave us a really great understanding of why our dog may be acting in a certain way, and how our own actions and behaviours can affect the dog. We've learnt things that we will always be able to work on in the future - extremely good value for money and Jo was incredibly helpful.

I enjoyed learning about ACE Free Work on Jo’s Calm dog course and have incorporated it as part of my dogs actives. I would be interested in learning more about ACE Free Work. I enjoyed the online aspect as I can’t always travel to attend courses or workshops.

Jo is very knowledgeable and has an easy manner which is non judgmental and explanatory. She gave me a good insight into why my dog reacts as he does and ' tools' to help keep him calm. The course has given me a better understanding of my dogs behaviour which has helped build my confidence and strengthened the bond with my dog. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone who has a nervous or reactive dog!

We found it very useful to have a weekly catch-up and to hear from other people the behaviour they were observing with their dogs. Also to have an insight into the behaviour and explanations of techniques to use. Very informative, lots of participation, right number of people, very helpful with lots of tips given, very professional.

Jo is extremely patient and is happy to help everybody with every situation. The course was very relaxed and yet very informative. A lovely group of people too.

Jo was great! Very calm and considerate to each individual’s specific dog behaviour and needs. Clearly an expert with a great deal of practical and theoretical knowledge to carefully advise.

Really enjoyed the course, it was an even blend of theory, advice & suggestions of how to calm our dogs. The benefit of the group was to see others with similar issues and support each other trying out the techniques learnt on the course, plus I fully recommend this course. I have learnt so much about how to understand why my dog behaves the way she does and now have a tool kit of different techniques I can use confidently to help her stay calm and relaxed.

I found it very helpful and also reassuring to be part of a group during the Zoom sessions. It was really interesting to learn about the theory and have some great articles to read. There was always time / opportunities to ask questions that were related to my concerns / issues with my dog. I have definitely seen the exercises have a calming effect and have learnt that small changes make a big difference. Thank you to Jo and the group.

Jo's Calm Dog course was fantastic. It was so helpful for getting to grips with the basics, then developing a deeper understanding of our own dog through Jo's interactive sessions. I was always amazed at how Jo had a solution for every difficult dog situation - and they made so much sense once she explained why the problem was happening too, and helped me approach our dog's difficult behaviours with compassion and a calm attitude. Our dog has changed so much - just goes to show an old dog can learn new tricks :) Thank you Jo!
