Does your dog...

  • Bark at people, dogs or other animals?
  • Ignore you out on walks?
  • Become anxious easily?
  • Pull on the lead?
  • Become worried when left home alone?
  • Find it difficult to listen to you and focus?
  • Not come back when called?

If you have answered "Yes" to any of the above then my Calm Dog Course is the best option for you and your dog!

This is an interactive online group course that provides you with all of the support and specialist training to help promote calmness, confidence and cooperation in your dog so that you can enjoy your time together at home and out on walks.

This interactive group online course includes an introduction to the Tellington TTouch Method, Animal Centred Education (ACE), detailed observations, learning about why dogs behave the way they do, and relevant Behaviour and Training Advice.

The course runs over 6 weeks with a follow-up session one month later to make sure you and your dog are progressing well (7 sessions in total). It consists of zoom training and feedback sessions, homework exercises to practise between sessions, a private WhatsApp group where you can share photos and videos (not compulsory) and get advice and support between lessons. Each zoom session is recorded for you to watch again and keep you up to date if you miss a lesson.

"Jo gave us amazing motivation, support and advice with our excitable dog. This is why I would highly recommend Jo Churlish's Calm Dog Course. Jo explained the reasoning behind unwanted dog behaviour and gave us useful and relevant training exercises, Tellington TTouch Method techniques, ACE Free Work and Engagement Activities, all of which really helped transform our dog. During the training I also had the opportunity to ask as many questions as I wanted and full access to training materials and videos both during and after the course. This training made me not only a better owner, but helped me to develop a deeper understanding of dogs." (Karen, March 2024)

At the end of the Calm Dog Course 100% of the participants said that they had benefitted from being part of a group course! Those who originally wanted to book a Home Visit for a Behaviour Consultation said that they would now recommend booking onto this course instead!
