We want you and your pet to have the best possible experience in our classes so we need to make sure that the group sessions in a hall environment are appropriate for you and your pet. If your dog is nervous, barks at people or other dogs, has bitten a person or another dog, or has any other behaviour problems, please do not hesitate to contact us here. We currently have processes in place, adhering to Covid-19 guidelines, to keep everyone as safe as possible.

What is the best training for you?

We have courses for dogs of all abilities and age. They are also designed for the whole family, and we encourage everyone to join in during the lessons. Training can begin at any age and the sooner the socialisation process starts the better. Classes are fun, both for you and your dog, as well as reinforcing relationships and socialising your dog under controlled, safe conditions. You decide how far you want to go, with the option to work towards the KENNEL CLUB GOOD CITIZEN DOG SCHEME awards in most of the classes.

Please note, classes are not suitable for dogs that show aggression or extreme excitement around people and dogs.

Once enrolled on a course you will be given an access code to enter the Classroom Forum, where you will find training notes, videos, tips and information on the Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme; as well has have the opportunity to ask questions or post feedback.

Due to the current lockdown and uncertainty about the new social distancing guidelines I have made the decision to postpone all courses and consultations until 2021.

Training Classes are held at Bowburn Community Centre, Durham Road, Bowburn, Durham DH6 5AT
